How does the LED hourglass show the time?
Instead of sand, it uses a grid of LED points. As the countdown runs, the lit points move from the top chamber to the bottom, so the amount left in the top shows the time remaining.
It detects which way the timer is standing and keeps the falling light moving downward, just like the sand in a traditional hourglass.
The countdown adjusts anywhere from 1 to 30 minutes.
It works well for study sessions, focus blocks, work breaks, board game turns, cooking, and classroom activities. It also serves as desk decor when not in use.
