Yes. The polyester surface and TPR rubber backing are built for outdoor use, and the grooves give water somewhere to go instead of pooling on top. For outdoor placement, a covered porch or overhang gives you the best results and the longest life from the mat.
No. The full TPR rubber backing grips smooth floors and keeps the mat flat. For the strongest grip, make sure the floor underneath is clean and dry before you lay it down.
In most cases, yes. It's a low-profile mat that sits close to the floor. If your door has a very tight clearance, measure the gap under the door before you order.

Shake it out or vacuum it for everyday dirt. When it gets muddy, take it outside and rinse it with a garden hose, then lay it flat and let it air dry fully before putting it back down.
