The 50 cm covers most standard tables. The 60 cm is the choice for a large table or an open room where the fixture should be the defining object, and the 40 cm suits a breakfast nook, a hallway, or a bedside position.
Acrylic holds a sharper edge on each petal, so the shape stays crisp rather than soft, and it cleans with a damp cloth instead of needing dusting. Fabric gives a warmer, more textile look. The choice comes down to whether the fixture should read defined or soft, and how much cleaning it will realistically get.
