Rice gets rinsed and drained in one step, with the grains staying in the bowl while the cloudy water runs straight out. The perforated stainless steel wall drains fast, so washing rice until the water runs clear takes seconds instead of a careful pour over the sink.
It handles berries, beans, and salad greens just as easily, making it one of the most used bowls in the kitchen.
Key Features:
- Less wasted rice: the fine perforated wall lets water escape while keeping grains in the bowl
- Faster prep: rinse, swirl, and drain all happen in the same bowl with no transferring
- One bowl for many foods: washes quinoa, lentils, beans, fruit, and vegetables
- Tidier counters: straining happens right where the washing happens, so less water ends up on the counter
- Built to last: solid stainless steel feels sturdy and does not hold odors or stains like plastic

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the rice really stay in the bowl while draining?
+
The perforated wall is designed to let water pass through while holding the grains back. Tilting the bowl gently as the water pours out keeps nearly all the rice in the bowl.
What else can the bowl wash besides rice?
+
It works for quinoa, lentils, beans, berries, grapes, cherry tomatoes, salad greens, and chopped vegetables, and it can drain small batches of pasta.
Can it be used as a regular colander?
+
Yes. It doubles as a small colander for draining pasta, blanched vegetables, and freshly washed produce.
Is it made of plastic or metal?
+
The bowl is made of stainless steel, which feels sturdy and does not hold onto food odors or stains the way plastic strainers can.
How should the bowl be cleaned?
+
Rinse it right after use, wash it with warm soapy water, and dry it fully before storing. Hand washing is recommended to keep the finish looking its best.
What size is the bowl?
+
The bowl is a single household size made for everyday rice and produce portions. Exact measurements are shown in the product images.
What color does it come in?
+
It comes in a natural silver stainless steel finish.
How long does shipping typically take?
+
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days, and delivery typically arrives in 7–10 business days. Tracking information is provided once your order ships so you can follow its progress every step of the way.
Please read our Shipping Policy for more information.
