The L size holds laptops up to 14 inches and the XL holds laptops up to 15.6 inches. Both sizes seat the machine in a padded interior compartment rather than the open main section.
The L measures 15.4 x 11.4 x 2.8 inches and suits a lighter daily carry. The XL measures 16.1 x 12.2 x 3.1 inches and leaves room for a charger, a notebook, and a lunch alongside the laptop.
