No. This is a woven polyester satin. Satin describes the weave rather than the fiber, which is what gives the surface its smoothness and sheen. Polyester satin holds color well, washes easily, and costs considerably less than silk.
Four pieces: one duvet cover, one bed sheet, and two pillowcases. The duvet cover holds a duvet or comforter that is purchased separately.
These are cut to European dimensions, which do not line up neatly with North American bed labels. Listing the actual measurements avoids the mismatch that happens when a European size is given a North American name it does not really fit.
Measure the duvet or comforter that will go inside the cover, then pick the closest listed dimension. Matching the insert matters more than matching the mattress, since the cover goes over the duvet rather than over the bed.
