I put a lot of kilometers on my E-Bike last year, due to a local bus driver strike, and I came to hate the stock seat that my bike came with. It was more of a street racing bike type seat and after half an hour of bouncing over pot holes, I would get a sore butt. So when I saw this big seat available, I grabbed it and I am very happy that I did. I am not a small person and this seat is nice and wide (like by bum!) and it is so much more comfortable now. It also has a cool look that matches the techno look of my E-Bike. I find that losing the long thin nose of the seat really makes it easier to stop at lights and stand, because I used to bump into that nose on the old seat all the time. Installation was pretty straight-forward. The seat comes with a new clamp designed to fit on a standard post mount. Take note though and read the product page, because it will not work directly with bikes that have a flip-up seat, which my E-Bike had, as those are usually welded onto the post. Instead, I just bought a new seat post from Amazon here, which is really inexpensive, and this seat fit perfectly on that standard seat post. The seat also comes with the tools to install it and they even throw in a reflective band for your arm or legs. Finally, in addition to the nice memory foam padding on the seat itself, the seat pan has rubber isolators (blue in the photo) that give you even more comfort. 5-Stars.
It's very cushion comfortable. I just wasn't use to the side to side movement which will result as the seat is wider. If you're very heavy I'd recommend a wider seat with nose. My only reason for buying this was due to a back and hip injury. I found the pedaling a bit different as your back of legs touch and pull the seat front one side to the next. If you're very heavy and use the throttle a lot it's very comfortable. Overall it's the best seat I've found so far.
I'll start by saying that this seat is WIDE. Like crazy wide and no matter what will get some looks. It is so crazy comfy though that to a degree I don't know why seats weren't made this way originally so this would be the norm. As I've gotten older I relish more and more comfort in things, and this fits the bill for casual riding. I'm not a distance cyclist, I'm just a 50yr old out for a ride with my wife and kids and frankly I just don't need things as crunched up as I did in my 20s doing distance. This seat came with all the necessary hardware for mounting / replacing a standard post mount seat, including a wrench (you may need others) and was a simple 10 minute install job with a couple of hex keys and some patience. I did find that while the seat itself had a lot of cushion and padding it does not have much suspension / spring to it, some mild pads but they didn't add much. Of course if you are picking up this seat I think there is a 100% chance you aren't aiming for off-road anyway so this likely doesn't matter. Overall I'm quite happy with the construction and quality of the seat. The very unique design adds quite a lot of comfort!
I do continue to be baffled why every listing insists on adding genders to every item. Regardless, this is a great item for any body that has a booty that doesn't like your typical narrow bike seat. I've been kept off my bike the last couple seasons by exactly that sort of comfort issue, and I'm looking forward to riding again after swapping this seat on - I had no idea anyone had made such a configuration available. The seat is JUST a seat, so you will need to mount it on whatever post you have. It comes with clamps and the basic tools you need but you may need your own depending on your bike. It's very comfy to sit on, and for those who might ride casually and not be wearing performance shorts, it removes one source of irritation at the nose where you might get inner thigh rub. Also came with a little reflective safety arm/ankle band if you ride at night or in lower light.
I put off replacing my bike seat for way too long. The stock seat on my exercise bike was absolutely brutal for anything longer than twenty minutes and I kept cutting my workouts short because of the discomfort. I finally had enough and picked this up and honestly wish I had done it months ago. The first thing that struck me was just how wide and substantial it is. There is real surface area here and the memory foam fills it out beautifully. Sitting down on it for the first time felt like a completely different experience compared to what I had before. No more numbness, no more shifting around trying to find a comfortable position. The noseless design felt a little unusual at first but I got used to it quickly and now I actually prefer it. It removes a lot of the friction and pressure points that traditional seats create and makes it much easier to get on and off the bike. The ventilation in the middle also does a solid job of keeping things cool and dry during longer sessions which is a nice bonus. The dual shock absorbing rubber underneath is something I did not expect to notice as much as I did but it really does make a difference, especially when I use it outdoors on uneven terrain. Combined with the memory foam on top it is a genuinely comfortable ride from start to finish. Installation was simple enough and all the tools you need come right in the box. The reflective armband they throw in is a thoughtful little extra for outdoor night riding. If you have been putting up with an uncomfortable stock seat this is absolutely worth the upgrade. My workout sessions are longer and way more enjoyable now. Highly recommend!
The seat is great! I personally wished it was a bit wider, but that's just my preference. The springs help with the shock when cycling through rough areas. Price was just right. Definitely worth it.
Seat was easy to install using my original parts on my E bike. I did not need the adapter. I love the noseless seat. I was able to adjust the seat to ride more upright to prevent my arms from going to sleep. The seat cushion was well made and soft and wide enough to accommodate my hip size.
My wife is the good thicc and she didn't want to go biking with me because the original seat is uncomfortable. She loves this one and I tried it and I'm ordering myself one even though I could sit two of me on here. Idc if people laugh when they see it. They'll shut up once they try it. If you're in public no one can tell. I'm just saying if a friend sees it they might roast you on it. Assuming you have cool friends like mine. I'm buying another one.
